Argo Tractors Ireland are now inviting applications for a Sales Manager (Argo Parts). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, driven sales professional with a proven ability to win new business and a strong technical background in agri machinery, particularly tractor spare parts.

The Role:

  • Continue to grow sales with the existing customer base, whilst developing new business across the Irish market.
  • Drive product sales to meet targets using a consultative sales approach.
  • Achieve agreed sales forecasts and margin goals.
  • Manage all B2B customers efficiently and professionally across the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to maximise satisfaction and retention.
  • Carry out customer stock checks, inventory analysis and handle service queries.
  • Support inventory purchasing through competitor and market gap insights.
  • Assist marketing and promotions with category analysis, customer feedback and market trends.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and purchasing teams on customer-focused plans
  • Implement strategic plans to deliver targeted performance.
  • Maintain accurate sales, pricing and customer data using a Customer Relationship Management system.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ sales experience in agri machinery, parts or a related agricultural sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of agri machinery spare parts.
  • Proven ability to win new business in a target-driven environment.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and planning skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and confident working to sales metrics.
  • Participate in preparation for shows and exhibitions.
